As Webb County Judge, he lowered property taxes five times in ten years while still delivering results. He knows how to manage taxpayer dollars responsibly and get more done with less.

Laredo is one of the top three inland ports in America; a critical gateway for trade and commerce. With the right leadership, we can build on that strength and turn South Texas into a center for technology, logistics, and economic growth.

But innovation should never come at the cost of our water, our land, or our rural way of life. As the technology boom brings a wave of data centers across Texas, Tano knows these projects can drain scarce water, consume massive amounts of power, and swallow up the land our rural communities depend on.

Real leadership means getting all the facts first and putting South Texas families ahead of outside interests. As Webb County Judge, Tano has stood up to protect our land and water, insisting that any project prove it will strengthen our communities, not strain them. He will bring that same fight to Congress: we can lead in technology and still refuse to trade away the water, land, and affordable power our children will inherit.
